Our Pre-school staff believes that the Image
of the Child is foremost in all that we do.
Each child's work, conversation and prior knowledge is valued
and built upon.
The educators respect each child and their way of learning,
providing a flexible approach to education, with many possible
ways to work toward shared goals.

The Pre-school environment is a highly valued third educator of
the child. Children have the right to a rich and complex
environment, to enable a multitude of meaningful experiences.
We offer Pre-school education to children from Playgroup to 5
years. There is a Piccoli group based on the needs
of 3 years olds who stay without a care giver. There is a
Pre-Entry session for children who are almost 4 years old and as
a part of the Pre-school programme, we offer days where children
can stay all day, with a special lunch session.
Children with special rights and needs are welcomed and
integrated into the pre-school programme with assistance from
support staff where this is deemed necessary.
Collaboration with families is vital for the education of each
child, viewing them as competent and strong citizens of their
community. They are the constructors and co-constructors
of knowledge.
Japanese and Italian are both taught in Pre-school along with a
dance/music session each week.
